Bumper cars

I haven't been enjoying myself with frivolous,spontaneous random things like bumper cars and arcade games before work. Although the weather man says we will get snow....strange?

Becoming a country mouse after 30+ years of being a  city mouse is challenging and emotionally draining.One who has always lived with white noise,nonstop next door neighbor chatter,car alarms going off at 1 am and now to only owls hooting at night.Sounds like heaven right? Wrong...my closest form of coffee and conversation after my honey has left for the day,is telling my dogs my itinerary for the day.Solitude is welcoming but with solitude comes isolation.Remember that Tom Hanks movie where he becomes stranded on an island and the only thing that keeps him from having a mental breakdown because of his isolation is a soccer ball with a painted face....i was a little like that when i first moved out here.I have began to discover myself again and my artistic side has began to slowly drip out.I lost myself over 25 years ago,but this change of scenery has allowed me to explore the depths of "me". My love affair for the eclectic and kitsch in t he art/fashion world has taken me to an entire level of things i never knew and i don't really care if you don't like my insect blouse i'm wearing and the pom poms on my purse....i like pom poms.
